The problem
Odoo's native POS closing report tells you what cash came in — not what the business actually earned. A session can show strong gross sales while quietly bleeding margin because staff sold discounted or low-markup items all shift, and owners only find out days later when an accountant reconciles sales against cost in a spreadsheet.
The solution
This module aggregates Odoo's own cost and margin figures to the session level the moment a session closes: gross sales, taxes, discounts, cost of goods and gross profit, colour-rated against thresholds you define, with item-level drill-down and a one-click PDF you can hand to an owner or accountant.

A dedicated product-margin report breaks every session down by item, so you can pinpoint exactly which products are winning or losing money.

Run your POS shift and close the session as usual — no extra step required.
Open Session P&L
Go to Point of Sale > Reporting > Session P&L to see every closed session colour-rated by margin.
Drill into products
Open Product Margins to see which items drove or dragged down that session's profit.
Print or export
Use the session's Print menu for a one-click PDF to share with owners or accountants.

The module reuses Odoo's own POS cost and margin figures (FIFO/AVCO stock cost, falling back to the product's cost price) and aggregates them to the session and product level — it does not re-derive cost with a different logic.
