Full reservation lifecycle
Every booking moves through Pending, Confirmed, Waitlisted, Seated, Completed, No-show, and Cancelled, with each change tracked on the record so nothing is lost between shifts.
Live service board
A kanban view grouped by status gives hosts, floor staff, and managers one glance at every reservation — color-coded and draggable from column to column as guests arrive and leave.
Double-booking prevention
Confirming or seating a reservation checks every table it uses against overlapping time windows, so two parties are never assigned the same table at the same time.
Deposits & cancellation policy
Set a deposit amount and a cancellation cutoff per venue. Cancelling inside the cutoff with a paid deposit automatically forfeits it, giving managers real protection against no-shows.
No-show tracking on guest profiles
Every guest profile shows a reservation count, a no-show count, and a repeat-guest flag, so staff can spot patterns and require a deposit from repeat offenders.
Booking-to-bill link
Seated reservations link directly to the resulting POS order with smart buttons both ways, so a booking flows into the bill with nothing re-typed at checkout.
Waitlist & walk-in overflow
When every table is full, add walk-ins to a dedicated waitlist queue and seat them the moment a table frees up, instead of turning guests away.
Reservation tags
A configurable tag catalog — Window Seat, Birthday, Allergy, High Chair, VIP — captures guest preferences and special requests right on the booking for the whole team to see.
Drag-and-drop floor plans
Reuses Odoo's proven floor-plan editor with pre-built demo layouts, so a manager arranges their real dining room visually with no developer and no code.

Take the booking
Capture the guest, party size, date, time, and any special requests — by phone, walk-in, or online, straight into the reservation form.
Assign a table
Pick a floor and tables from the live layout; the system blocks any table that is already booked for that window.
Seat and serve
Move the reservation to Seated with one click as the guest arrives, and the service board updates for the whole team instantly.
Bill and close out
Link the reservation to the POS order at checkout, then mark it Completed — the guest's history and no-show record update on their profile automatically.
