The problem

Choose per POS whether the badge and every restriction rule reads on-hand quantity or forecasted quantity, matching how each store actually manages inventory.
Selection-Time Shortage Warning
Shortages are caught the moment a product is added to the cart, not at payment, so cashiers never assemble an order that cannot be fulfilled.
Graduated Warn, Override, Block
Pick warn-only, hard block, or a configurable threshold that warns above it and blocks at or below it, so strict and flexible stores can both run the same module.
Manager Override + Audit Log
A POS Stock Manager can approve a blocked sale on the spot, and every warning acknowledged or block overridden is recorded with cashier, product, and quantity for accountability.
Warehouse-Scoped Quantities
Displayed and enforced quantities are scoped to the warehouse assigned to that POS, so a multi-location database shows each register its own real numbers.

A one-tap refresh pulls current quantities on demand, and a visible last-sync label tells cashiers exactly how fresh the numbers are, even after a connection drop.
Order Validation Guards
Independently toggle blocks for empty orders, zero-quantity lines, and zero or negative price lines, each with a customizable message, before payment can proceed.
Per-Product Min/Max POS Quantity
Set a minimum and maximum sellable quantity on any product, enforced automatically at checkout so cashiers cannot ring up an order outside policy.
