The problem
Odoo's standard POS receipt prints in whatever language products were entered in and does not lay out Arabic text correctly. Product names, quantities, and totals shift and misalign under right-to-left script, and Arabic product names must be typed in by hand — forcing GCC and MENA restaurants, cafes, and shops into manual workarounds or developer fixes just to hand a customer a readable receipt.
The solution
Cerevantix POS Arabic Receipt renders bilingual Arabic/English (or Arabic-only) receipts with validated right-to-left alignment in every zone, pulls Arabic product names automatically from Odoo translations with a manual override and English fallback, flags products still missing a translation, and prints a matching RTL kitchen ticket — all configurable per POS from Settings.

Bilingual Arabic / English Receipts
Print customer receipts with Arabic and English product names side by side, plus bilingual Total, Subtotal, Change, Discounts and Rounding labels.
Automatic Arabic Product Names
Arabic names are pulled from the product's Arabic field translation automatically, or set once with a manual override that always takes priority.
English Fallback, Never Blank
When no Arabic name is available, the receipt falls back cleanly to the English product name instead of printing a blank or broken line.
Missing Arabic Names Worklist
A dedicated backend list flags every POS product still missing an Arabic name, with a one-click Refresh Arabic Names action to re-pull translations.
Validated Right-to-Left Layout
Product name, quantity, and price columns stay aligned under RTL text, fixing the layout shifting and detached quantities common on Arabic POS receipts.
Arabic-Only or Bilingual, Per POS
Toggle each POS between bilingual Arabic + English output and Arabic-only RTL receipts to match a single branch or a mixed-clientele chain.
Custom Header & Footer Text
Add Arabic header and footer text — greetings, branding, or legal notices — that prints centered on every receipt.
Three Receipt Templates
Choose Standard, Compact, or Detailed layouts per POS to match a fast-counter format or a fuller itemized receipt.
