Automatic Screen Transition
The moment a sale is finalized, the receipt screen automatically hands the cashier back to the order screen so the next customer can be served without a manual tap.
Per-Register Enable Toggle
Turn Auto Next Screen on or off independently for each point of sale from the POS section of Settings, so every store or register controls its own behavior.
Configurable Transition Delay
Set a 0-10 second pause before the screen advances, giving the cashier time to confirm the receipt printed or hand it to the customer before the next order starts.
Skip on Refunds
Exclude refund transactions from auto-advance so the cashier always stays on the confirmation screen when a return needs extra attention.
Skip on Invoiced Orders
Exclude orders billed to invoice from the automatic transition, keeping the cashier on screen when additional invoicing steps may be needed.
Cashier Manual Override
A Hold (Esc) button cancels the countdown on demand, and a Start now button advances immediately, so cashiers stay in control of every exception.
Apply to All Points of Sale
One click from Settings copies the enabled state, delay, and exclusion rules to every other point of sale, keeping behavior consistent across a whole fleet of registers.
Per-Session ROI Metrics
Each point of sale session form shows the number of accelerated transitions and the estimated total time saved, so managers can see the impact directly on the session record.
Auto Next Metrics Reporting
A dedicated Reporting list and pivot log every accelerated transition with date, register, session, cashier, and order reference, ready to filter, group, and export.
How it works
Configure the delay
In Settings, enable Auto Next Screen for a point of sale and set the transition delay plus any refund or invoice exclusions.
Cashier completes a sale
The cashier validates payment as usual; the receipt screen appears with a live countdown card.
Screen advances automatically
After the configured delay the order screen returns on its own — or the cashier can Hold (Esc) or Start now at any moment.
Review the ROI
Managers check accelerated-transition counts and time saved on the session form or in the Auto Next Metrics report.
