The solution
Product Personalizer keeps design, pricing, and production inside Odoo. A guided studio builds a layered 2D mockup with live itemized pricing and plain-language DPI warnings, a share-by-link portal captures customer approval, and one click generates a print-ready PDF and routes the job to an MRP work center — closing the gap between design and fulfillment.

Live 2D Mockup Studio
A layered preview widget renders text, image, clip-art, and shape layers on the actual product mockup, so the design is seen exactly as it will print before it is approved.
Itemized Live Pricing
A running price panel shows base price, per-zone surcharges, and printing-method costs updating as the design changes, so the total is never a checkout-time surprise.
Plain-Language DPI Validation
Every image and clip-art layer is checked against the product's minimum print DPI, with a clear warning — not a silent failure — telling the designer to upload higher resolution art or shrink the placement.
Layer Management & Clip-Art Library
Build designs from text, uploaded images, reusable clip art, and shapes, each with its own position, size, rotation, and z-order, organized into clip-art categories for fast reuse.
Configurable Print Zones & Methods
Define printable zones per product — front, back, left sleeve, right sleeve — each with its own surcharge and dimensions, and configure Screen Printing and DTG methods with setup cost, per-unit cost, and color limits.
Design Version History
Every revision is kept as a linked version with its own layers and state, so approvals, reorders, and disputes can always be traced back to the exact design that was signed off.
Share-by-Link Customer Approval
A customer portal page shows the mockup, itemized price, and DPI status, with Approve and Reject actions available to the owner or anyone holding the shared link — no email back-and-forth required.
Sale Order Integration
A design attaches directly to a sale order line, and its per-unit customization surcharge automatically flows into the line price, so quotes stay accurate without a manual price adjustment.
Print-Ready PDF & MRP Routing
One click generates a print-ready PDF sheet with layers, zones, pricing, and DPI status, then creates a manufacturing order routed to the printing method's work center.
