The problem
Once a sales order triggers manufacturing, the customer context disappears. Native Odoo links only the top-level manufacturing order, buries the reference behind sales-only fields, and loses it completely on child MOs from BoM explosion — forcing planners into manual lookups just to answer “whose order is this?”
