Reservations flow straight into standard Odoo quotations and sales orders, and customers manage their own bookings from the portal — no phone calls, no spreadsheets.

Customers pick a quantity or a date range in an interactive booking panel on the product page itself, with live availability and price shown before they confirm — no contacting staff required.
Forecasted stock validation
Every reservation checks real forecasted availability, not just on-hand quantity, so out-of-stock items can still be reserved without ever overselling.
Conflict detection & blackout dates
Overlapping date-range bookings are blocked automatically, and admins can set blackout windows per product for maintenance, holidays, or off-season closures.
Automatic hold expiration
Every booking gets a configurable hold window with a visible countdown; unclaimed reservations release their stock automatically the moment they expire.
Automated booking notifications
Customers receive an email confirmation on booking, reminders ahead of pickup or return, and alerts the moment a hold expires or is cancelled.
Customer self-service portal
From My Bookings in the customer portal, shoppers can view, modify the dates or quantity of, or cancel their own reservations — stock releases instantly on cancellation.
Date-range pricing & mandatory add-ons
Rentals price automatically by day or period, and mandatory bundled charges — deposits, insurance, cleaning fees — attach to the booking without manual line entry.
Admin booking calendar & dashboard
Staff get a list and calendar of every reservation plus a dashboard highlighting upcoming pickups, expiring holds, and bookings by status.
Sales order integration & status workflow
Every booking links to a standard Odoo quotation or sales order and moves through a clear reserved, confirmed, picked up, returned lifecycle.
