Website Product Internal Reference shows each product's internal reference (SKU) on shop grids, product pages and native search — with variant-loss protection, pattern-based auto-generation, a full audit trail, and customer-specific codes for B2B reorders.
The problem
Odoo's internal reference is the code your warehouse, purchasing and B2B buyers already use to identify a product — but native Odoo never shows it on the storefront. Worse, the moment a product gets its first variant, Odoo silently clears the template's own code with no warning, no audit trail and no way to recover it, corrupting the very data a display app is meant to surface.
The solution
This module shows the internal reference everywhere a buyer looks — grid, detail page and search — while actively protecting it: the code a template would otherwise lose is preserved on the first variant, every change is logged, duplicates can be blocked, and a bulk wizard backfills an entire existing catalog. Logged-in customers even see their own SKU.
