The problem
Odoo stamps every sales order confirmation with the exact moment someone clicks Confirm. When the true business date differs — during a data migration, a paperwork backlog, or a late correction — there is no supported way to fix it, so reporting periods, deliveries and invoices all inherit the wrong date.
The solution
Sales Confirmation Backdate adds a guided wizard to the Confirm action so you can set the true confirmation date and time, then carries that correction through the delivery and invoice with the same before/after review, policy limits and a full audit trail.
