The problem
Suppliers, manufacturer portals, and CDNs hand catalog teams a list of image links, not files. Odoo's product form only accepts one local upload at a time, so populating imagery for a large catalog means downloading every link by hand and re-uploading it product by product — slow, repetitive, and easy to get wrong at scale.
The solution
Paste or upload a batch of image URLs (typed, pasted, or via CSV), let the module fetch and validate every one, review a consolidated preview of successes, duplicates, and errors, then apply the images to products or specific variants — inline for small jobs, or in the background for large catalogs with a live progress bar.

Each batch line can target either a product template or a specific variant, so color, size, and style variants get their own image in the same run.
Async Background Processing
Large batches can run on a scheduled action instead of inline, so a 5,000-SKU job completes in the background without tying up the user.

A one-click "Fetch image" action right on the product form covers the one-off case without opening a batch at all.
