The problem
Real products carry more than one valid code: a manufacturer's EAN13, a supplier's carton code, a legacy internal SKU, and separate codes for units, cases, and pallets. Odoo stores only one barcode per product, so scanning anything else fails at the register or in the warehouse, forcing manual lookups and re-labeling.

Attach as many barcodes as you need to a product or a specific variant. Every additional code lives alongside the native barcode, never replacing it.
Resolves Everywhere Automatically
Any active barcode resolves the product wherever Odoo name-searches a product — POS, warehouse pickings, sales, purchase, and invoice lines — with no extra configuration per document.
Full POS Scanning
Cashiers scan any assigned barcode at the register. If the code is not yet loaded locally, the point of sale fetches it on demand so checkout never stalls.
Managed Multi-Company & Duplicate Policy
Choose per company whether the same barcode can repeat across subsidiaries or must stay unique, and decide whether a duplicate elsewhere is allowed, logged as a warning, or blocked outright.
Supplier Barcode Support
Record a vendor's own carton or unit code against a product and tag it by category, so receiving never requires re-labeling stock.
