The problem
Food and beverage sellers must disclose ingredients, nutrition values and allergens under EU FIC, US FDA/FALCPA and UK Natasha’s Law, yet most teams still track this in spreadsheets or a single employee’s memory, then re-key it into product descriptions and printed labels by hand. When a recipe changes, the update has to be chased across every label, product page and printed sheet, and the same product can end up showing conflicting information in the warehouse, on the invoice and on the website.
The solution
This app makes product nutrition and allergen data a single source of truth inside Odoo. Every food product carries structured ingredients, nutrition values and severity-aware allergen tags, seeded from a ready-to-use EU-14 allergen library and EU/US nutrition standards. Labels, storefront pages and dietary filters all read from that same record, so a change to one product updates every place it appears.

Pre-built allergen library
Installs with the 14 EU-regulated allergens — gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin and molluscs — so products can be tagged the moment the app is installed.
Severity-aware allergen tagging
Each allergen line is flagged Contains, May contain (trace) or Made on shared equipment, and the product page auto-generates an accurate warning phrase from those tags instead of one blunt label.
Dual nutrition panels, two standards
Nutrition values are entered once per 100g and shown per serving and per 100g automatically, with EU FIC and US FDA labeling standards ready to assign per product.
No-code label designer
Configure the panel title, which sections show, warning colors and allergen prominence from a form — no QWeb template editing needed to restyle a label.
Printable nutrition labels
Generate a print-ready PDF label with the nutrition panel, ingredient list and allergen warnings for any food product in one click from the product form.
Storefront nutrition & allergen display
Published product pages show a mobile-responsive nutrition table and a prominent, high-contrast allergen warning box, styled from the same label template used for printed labels.
Shopper dietary free-from filter
Shoppers filter the online shop by allergen — gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and more — turning allergen data into a product-discovery feature instead of just a disclosure.
Batch allergen flagging
Add, update or remove an allergen across many products at once from a single wizard, so a recipe or supplier change propagates catalog-wide without editing each product by hand.
Barcode lookup & category sync
Populate ingredients, allergens and nutrition values from an internal barcode database in one click, and keep back-office product categories in sync with eCommerce public categories manually or on a schedule.
