The problem
Odoo's native product form scatters specifications, materials, compliance details and marketing copy across generic variant attributes and free-text fields. Draft-to-Ready Workflow
Every product carries a Draft, In Review or Ready status with a validation gate: Mark Ready is blocked until all required attributes for that product's category are filled in.
Type-Validated Custom Attributes
Define attributes as text, long text, number, decimal, yes/no, date or dropdown, each with its own required flag, min/max bounds, format regex and default value, independent of Odoo's sales-variant attributes.
Predefined Attribute Templates
Bundle attributes into reusable templates per product category and apply them to one product or a whole category in a single click, seeding default values automatically.
Completeness & Missing-Required Tracking
Every product shows a live completeness percentage and a missing-required count computed from the attributes that actually apply to its category, visible on the kanban, list and form.
Bulk Attribute Editor
Select any set of products from the catalog list and set one attribute's value across all of them at once from a single dialog, with the same validation and audit logging as a normal edit.
Native Import & Export
Product attribute values and PIM fields are regular Odoo fields, so the standard list import and export tools move data in and out of spreadsheets without any custom tooling.
Cross-Attribute Search & Filtering
Find products by any attribute value, PIM status, completeness range or missing-required count, on top of the standard name and reference search.
Full Audit Trail
Every attribute value change is logged with the product, attribute, user, timestamp and the old and new value, giving data stewards a complete accountability record.
Taxonomy Overview with Role-Based Access
A dedicated category kanban shows product and ready counts per branch of the catalog, while Reader, User and Manager groups separate who can view, edit and configure attributes and templates.
