The problem
Cashiers can ring up items that have zero or negative stock with no reliable signal until it is too late. The sale completes, the customer is charged, and the store is left holding a refund, a corrupted stock count, and a fulfillment promise it cannot keep.
The solution
This app checks live stock at the register's own warehouse as items are added to the cart, flags out-of-stock lines immediately, and stops payment with a clear warning. A manager can approve a documented exception in seconds, and every blocked or overridden sale is logged for review.

Payment Block
Stops checkout the moment any line's quantity would exceed available stock, calculated live against the register's own warehouse.
In-Cart Alerts
Flags out-of-stock lines the instant a product hits the cart, so the cashier acts before the customer is asked to pay.
Consolidated Warning Banner
Shows a single "X of Y items out of stock" summary above the pay button, so the whole cart is resolved in one pass.
Configurable Stock Basis
Choose, per register, whether the check uses available (free) quantity or on-hand quantity, plus a minimum-remaining threshold.
Manager Override
Lets an authorized manager approve a documented exception with a mandatory reason, instead of forcing staff to disable the block.
Reason Code Catalog
Maintain a configurable list of override reasons, such as incoming delivery, display unit, or stock count correction, editable from Settings.

How it works
Enable blocking
Turn on stock blocking for a Point of Sale, pick the stock basis, and set the minimum quantity that must remain.
Cashier builds the cart
As products are added, any line without enough stock is flagged immediately with a clear on-screen marker.
Checkout is stopped
Paying shows a plain-language warning naming the product, SKU, requested quantity, and what is actually available.
Resolve or override
The cashier removes the line, or an authorized manager approves the sale with a reason. Either way, it is logged.
