Equipment Calibration adds a full calibration lifecycle on top of Odoo's Maintenance app: automatic recall scheduling, traceable reference standards, a guided schedule → calibrate → review → certify workflow, and audit-ready PDF certificates — all linked to the customer and instrument records you already manage in Odoo.

Calibration Job Scheduling
Plan, schedule and track every calibration job through a clear draft → scheduled → in progress → review → certified workflow, with the current step and next action always visible.
Recall & Due-Date Automation
Every instrument carries a computed Up to Date / Due Soon / Overdue status based on its calibration interval, and a daily automation schedules a follow-up activity the moment it slips past due.
Instrument & Equipment Registry
Extends Odoo's equipment registry with calibration interval, required flag, last/next calibration date and status — so customer-owned and internal instruments live in one record with their full history.
Reference Standard Traceability
Records the traceable reference standard used on every job, with its own certificate number, validity window and traceable-to body (e.g. NIST, NPL) — the non-negotiable evidence for a defensible result.
Measurement Records & Tolerance Checks
Log nominal vs. measured values per point; deviation and within-tolerance are computed automatically and flagged on the job the moment any reading falls outside its allowed range.
Technical Review Sign-Off
Enforces a genuine segregation of duties: the reviewer who approves and certifies a job can never be the technician who performed it, blocking the shortcut before a certificate is issued.
Certificate Generation & Archival
On approval, a numbered certificate is issued automatically with a printable PDF report and a computed validity window, then archived against the instrument and customer for good.
Calibration Lab Dashboard
A kanban command view grouped by status puts jobs awaiting review, in progress work and newly certified jobs in one glance, so nothing is dropped between steps.
Customer & Order Traceability
Every job and certificate is linked back to the owning customer already on file in Odoo, keeping the calibration lifecycle and the commercial relationship in one connected record.
