Toggle a branded maintenance mode across the frontend and backend from General Settings, with independent switches to block backend, frontend or both.
Branded, Previewable Page
Customize the maintenance page title and message, then use the Preview Page button to see exactly what visitors will see before you activate.
Countdown & Estimated Return
Show a live countdown to the configured expected end time so waiting visitors know when service resumes instead of hitting a dead end.
Maintainer Bypass & IP Whitelist
Maintainer-group users and whitelisted IP addresses keep working during maintenance, so admins are never locked out of their own instance.

Activity Log & Audit Trail
Every activation and deactivation of maintenance mode is recorded with the triggering user, timestamp and source — manual toggle or scheduled window.
MTBF/MTTR & Preventive Scheduling
Each equipment record computes mean time between failures, mean time to repair and a predicted next-failure date, while a scheduled action auto-generates preventive maintenance requests per equipment category.
Ratings & Technician Performance
Requesters rate completed maintenance requests 1-5 stars with an optional comment; rating and technician columns, filters and group-by surface quality trends across the fleet.

Toggle mode on immediately, or create a maintenance window with a lead time so Odoo notifies users before the switch flips automatically.
