The problem
Standard Odoo delivery slips list every product in one flat sequence. A picker who only needs the butcher counter still has to print, and scan past, the entire order — wasting paper, slowing fulfilment, and inviting mis-picks on long, undifferentiated lists.
The solution
This app groups delivery lines by product category, with clear header rows and a per-group item count. Restrict printing to selected categories — and their sub-categories — so a department only ever sees its own lines, never the full order.

Category-Grouped Delivery Slips
Delivery lines are grouped by product category, each with a header row and a per-group item count, so pickers see structure at a glance.
Enforced Category Filter
Choose which categories to print on a picking. When set, the report contains only those categories — never the full product list.
Descendant-Aware Filtering
Selecting a parent category automatically includes its sub-categories, so filters follow your existing category hierarchy.
Source-Location Column
An optional column shows the pick-from location for every line, so pickers know exactly where to look.
Missing-Location Exception Highlighting
Lines with no internal source location are flagged with a warning highlight, both in the preview and on the printed slip, so pickers are never sent on a dead-end search.
Fulfilment-Aware Display Modes
Switch between All, Outstanding-only, and Delivered-only views, with ordered, delivered, and remaining quantities shown per line.
Live In-App Preview
A preview table on the picking form shows the exact category groups that will print, before you commit any paper.
One-Click Print by Category
A dedicated Print by Category button sits right in the delivery form header — no digging through the Print menu.
Company-Wide No-Code Defaults
Set the group-by-category and show-location defaults once in Inventory settings, and every new delivery inherits them automatically.
How it works
Configure Defaults
In Inventory settings, turn on Group by Category and Show Source Location so every new delivery starts with sensible defaults.
Open a Delivery
On any outgoing transfer, open the new Category Slip tab to review options for that specific picking.
Filter and Preview
Optionally select which categories to include and pick a display mode, then check the live preview to confirm the exact groups that will print.
Print by Category
Click Print by Category to generate the grouped delivery slip, complete with locations and missing-location warnings.
