The problem
Sales and purchase orders carry promised delivery and receipt dates, but Odoo does not cascade them into the resulting stock transfers. Warehouse and purchasing teams re-enter dates by hand on every delivery and receipt, and when a customer's date changes nothing downstream moves with it — dates quietly drift out of sync until a shipment is late.

This app cascades a sales order's committed date and a purchase order's expected date onto every linked transfer, flags any date that disagrees with its source order, protects manually-set dates from being overwritten, and logs every change — so promised dates and warehouse plans never fall out of step.

A purchase order's expected date pushes onto its incoming receipt transfers the same way, keeping procurement and the warehouse aligned.
Overwrite protection
Transfers remember when their date was set by hand. A company-wide policy — warn, protect, or force — decides whether a cascade may overwrite it.
Date conflict detection
A flag lights up whenever a transfer's scheduled date disagrees with its source order, shown as list decoration, a form banner, and rolled up on the order itself.
Human-readable sync status
Every transfer shows a plain-language sync status — sync direction and the workflow stage syncing stops at — so nobody has to guess how the automation behaves.
Full audit log
Every date change is recorded with the old and new value, who made it, and what triggered it — cascade, manual edit, bulk update, or back-sync.
Bulk date wizard
Select several transfers at once and set a new scheduled date in one action, with the option to override manual dates and cascade back to the source order.
Transfers by Date dashboard
One list shows every transfer alongside its source committed date and conflict status, filterable and groupable by date so nothing gets missed.

Choose one-way or bidirectional sync, the stage syncing stops at, and the overwrite policy right from Inventory Settings.
How it works
Confirm the order
Confirm a sales order or purchase order with a committed or expected date; Odoo creates the linked delivery or receipt transfer as usual.
Date cascades automatically
The committed or expected date flows onto the transfer and its stock moves the moment the order is confirmed or the date changes.
Conflicts get flagged
If a transfer's date ever disagrees with its source order — because of a manual edit or a policy that protects it — a conflict banner appears immediately.
Review, adjust, and audit
Use the dashboard or bulk wizard to re-plan dates across many transfers at once, and check the audit log to see exactly what changed and why.
