The problem

Website Category Page replaces that list with a dedicated, auto-syncing category page. Six curated layouts, image tiles, product counts, and drill-down hierarchy turn category browsing into a designed part of the shop — configured once from Website Settings, no code required.

Dedicated Category Page
A purpose-built /shop/categories page replaces the flat sidebar list, giving every category its own image tile, product count, and description on one browsable screen.
Six Curated Layouts
Choose grid, list, masonry, banner, icon grid, or carousel from Website Settings. Every category page instantly re-renders in the new style — no template edits needed.
Hierarchy with Breadcrumbs
Parent categories drill down into their children with a full breadcrumb trail, so nested catalogs stay easy to navigate instead of being flattened into one list.
Automatic Catalog Sync
The page re-queries your product categories on every request. Add, rename, or remove a category and the page updates immediately — nothing to rebuild by hand.
Search & Sort
Visitors can search categories by name and sort by featured order, name, or product count, so large catalogs stay easy to scan.
Live Product Counts
Each category tile shows how many published products it contains, giving shoppers a sense of catalog depth at a glance.
Per-Card Element Toggles
Independently show or hide the image, product count, description, and call-to-action button on every category card from a single settings screen.
Hover Animation Presets
Choose overlay, 3D zoom, border glow, or glassmorphism hover effects, or turn animation off entirely with the reduce-motion toggle for motion-sensitive visitors.
Drag-and-Drop Showcase Snippet
A Category Showcase snippet drops straight into the website editor, so category tiles can be placed on any page, not just the dedicated category page.

Install & Configure
Install the module, then open Website Configuration → Settings to pick a layout, column count, and which card elements to show.
Browse the Live Page
Visit /shop/categories to see every published category rendered as image tiles with counts, descriptions, and drill-down links.
Customize the Look
Switch layouts, spacing, and hover animation any time — the page updates immediately, with no template editing.
Drop the Snippet Anywhere
Drag the Category Showcase snippet onto any page from the website editor for a quick category highlight outside the dedicated page.
