The problem
A sale order totalling 517.50 becomes 518.00 on the invoice, and finance teams are left explaining the gap. Odoo's native cash rounding only applies at invoicing, so sales staff quote a number that never matches what the customer is actually billed — triggering disputes, reconciliation work, and repeat manual line entries.
The solution
Sale Order Round Off applies your configured rounding automatically to sale and purchase orders from the quotation stage, showing the rounding delta and the final rounded total right on the form. The same configuration carries forward to the invoice, so the number a customer sees first is the number they pay.

Configure a default rounding method once per company and every new sale or purchase order applies it automatically — no wizard, no popup, no per-document button.
Pre-Invoice Visibility
The rounding adjustment and the final rounded total appear directly on the order form's total section, so sales staff quote the true final price before an invoice is ever created.
Optional Manual Override
Toggle a manual round-off on any order and enter a custom positive or negative adjustment for ad-hoc cases the default configuration should not handle.
Guaranteed Order-to-Invoice Match
The configured rounding carries forward natively to the customer invoice, eliminating the classic 517.50-to-518.00 mismatch at its source.

How it works
Set your default
Open Accounting settings and choose the default Cash Rounding configuration for sale orders and purchase orders, or pick a ready-made preset.
Create an order
Add order lines as usual. The rounding delta and rounded total recalculate automatically as the order changes.
Override if needed
For a one-off case, switch on the manual round-off field and enter your own positive or negative adjustment.
Invoice with confidence
Confirm the order and create the invoice — the rounding already shown on the order carries forward, so the totals match.
