POS Price-Based Quantity converts a money amount into the correct order-line quantity in one tap — with the formula shown, validated in real time, and ready to undo.
The problem
Bulk, wholesale, deli, and weighed-goods cashiers hear “give me 20 of rice” dozens of times a shift, then divide the amount by the unit price in their head and key in the result. Mental math under queue pressure means miskeyed quantities, short or over charges, and a slow void-recalculate-re-enter loop every time the number is wrong.
The solution
The cashier taps Amount to Qty, enters the money amount, and the popup shows the live formula — amount divided by unit price equals quantity — before anything changes on the order. Confirm applies it instantly; Undo reverses it in one tap, and every conversion is logged for the back office.

How it works
Select the line
Add or select the order line for the product the customer wants to buy “an amount of.”
Tap Amount to Qty
Open the conversion popup from the POS More/Actions menu.
Enter the amount
Type the money amount on the numpad and watch the formula and quantity update live.
Confirm or undo
Confirm to apply the quantity, or tap Undo in one step if it was a mistake.
