The problem
A restaurant needs a kitchen ticket plus a customer bill. A shop needs a loyalty copy and a file copy. A card sale often needs a merchant copy and a customer copy. Native Odoo POS prints one receipt per order, so staff reprint manually during a rush or lose track of which copy is the original.
The solution
POS Multiple Receipts prints as many labelled Original and Duplicate copies as an order needs, in one pass. Route each copy to its own printer with content it actually needs — a kitchen ticket with items only, a summary for the till, a full bill for the customer — and let the cashier adjust the copy count right on the receipt screen.

Configurable Copy Counts
Turn Multiple Receipts on per point of sale and set exactly how many Original and Duplicate copies print for every order, right from POS Settings.
Original / Duplicate Labelling
Every printed copy carries a clear banner — Original, Duplicate, or a fully custom label — so staff and customers can tell copies apart at a glance.
Per-Printer Routing
Define named receipt destinations — Customer, Kitchen, Merchant — each sent to its own printer, with its own print sequence and copy count.
Content-Aware Copies
Choose Full Bill, Kitchen (items only), or Summary (totals only) per destination, so a kitchen ticket and a customer receipt never look the same.
Copy Count at the Register
Cashiers can add extra duplicate copies right from the receipt screen for the order in front of them, without an admin touching a backend setting.
Printer Status Widget
See every configured printer's connection status right in the POS navbar, with a one-tap Reconnect action when a device drops.
Automatic Reconnection
A bounded background probe retries a dropped printer automatically, only asking the cashier to step in if automatic recovery fails.
USB and Network Printers
Works with the printers already supported by Odoo POS — USB, Epson network/IP, and IoT Box devices — no extra hardware layer to install.
Upgrade-Safe by Design
Built with template inheritance instead of replacing Odoo's receipt layout, so the module keeps working across Odoo version upgrades.
How it works
Enable in Settings
Turn on Multiple Receipts for the point of sale, set default Original/Duplicate counts, and decide if cashiers can override them.
Add Destinations
For per-printer routing, add named destinations — Customer, Kitchen, Merchant — each with its own printer, content type, and label.
Sell as Normal
Cashiers ring up the order as usual; the Copies button lets them add extra duplicates for this sale only, right before payment.
Every Copy Prints
At payment, every configured copy prints in sequence, correctly labelled and routed, while the printer status widget keeps watch on every device.
