The problem
Every cashier on a shared POS shares the same backend by default, so anyone can open the Orders list and see every colleague's sales, discounts, refunds, and payment breakdowns. For commissioned staff or shops where discounting authority varies by seniority, that open visibility is a real accountability problem — and Odoo's native access rights control whether a user reaches the Orders screen, not whose orders they see once inside.
The solution
POS Display Orders User-wise adds one record rule that scopes every order list — backend, reports, and the POS frontend — to the orders a user created. POS Managers keep an automatic full view for reconciliation, and a dedicated Order Visibility screen shows, per user, whether they are restricted or granted full access, with a one-click toggle to change it.

How it works
Install the app
The own-orders restriction is active immediately for every ordinary POS user — no configuration step needed.
Open Order Visibility
Go to POS > Configuration > Order Visibility to see every user's current status in one list.
Adjust access as needed
Toggle any individual user to full access, or promote them to POS Manager for the automatic override.
Verify from a cashier login
Log in as a restricted cashier and confirm the Orders list, filtered by "My Orders," shows only their own sales.
