The problem
Odoo's native payroll assumes a single company currency, so paying staff or contractors abroad means computing gross-to-net by hand, converting each payslip line at a rate pulled from a spreadsheet, and re-keying the result. Stale rates, misconfigured currencies, and totals that no longer reconcile with the general ledger are the norm at month end, and finance has no record of which rate was actually used when an auditor asks.
