Odoo's Manufacturing app expects every order to produce one product. Butchers, dairies, and textile cutters split a single raw batch into several finished goods at once, so teams fall back to duplicate BOMs, parallel orders, and manual stock adjustments — breaking consumption accuracy and losing the lot link between the raw batch and everything derived from it.

Consumption, production moves, lot traceability, cost allocation, and yield-variance reporting all happen automatically, with a guided wizard and industry templates to get a first run working in minutes.

Start from an industry template (meat portioning, dairy split, fabric grading) or build from scratch — the wizard walks through the raw material, outputs, and yields before creating the order.
Visual Decomposition Diagram
Every order shows a before/after diagram of the raw material and its outputs, with expected vs. actual quantities and out-of-spec highlighting, right on the form.
Yield Variance Analytics
Track expected vs. actual yield for every completed run in a dedicated pivot and graph report, and flag any output that falls outside its allowed tolerance.

Build or Pick a Recipe
Create a reusable Decomposition Recipe for an industry (meat, dairy, textile) or use the guided wizard to start from scratch, setting the raw material and each output's yield.
Confirm the Order
Set the raw material quantity, lot, and locations, and confirm the run — outputs and yields are validated before it starts.
Record Actual Yields
Start the run and adjust each output's actual quantity as production happens, comparing it live to the expected yield.
Complete & Trace
Mark the order done to post the stock moves, allocate cost across outputs, and link every output's lot back to the raw material batch.
