The problem
Project teams accumulate duplicate tasks — the same request logged twice, a re-created ticket, or an import that split one job into three. Existing merge tools merge blind, silently pick a winner on every conflicting field, and offer no way back once the merge is done. Logged hours, chatter history, and subtasks get lost, and no one can trust the task count or the reported hours anymore.

Reversible merges
Source tasks are archived, never deleted. Undo a merge to restore the sources, their timesheets, subtasks, and the target's original values.
Selective timesheet consolidation
Roll logged hours from every source into the target, or exclude a specific source's timesheets when its hours belong elsewhere.
Subtask & hierarchy handling

Resolve conflicts
Flagged fields show where sources disagree; edit the resulting name, description, priority, deadline, stage, tags, and assignees.
Review & confirm
Check the impact preview for hours, subtasks, and timesheets to be consolidated, then confirm the merge.
Track or undo
Open the merge log for the full impact report, or undo the merge to restore the sources and their data in one click.
