The problem
Teams running projects and manufacturing in Odoo lose track of which customer a job belongs to. The customer is not consistently visible across lists, kanban cards, or tasks, and it never reaches the Manufacturing Orders that a project spawns — so shop-floor and finance staff cannot answer "which client is this production run for?" without manual cross-referencing. Existing projects have no way to be updated in bulk once the gap is noticed.
The solution
Project Customer Name adds a Customer group-by to the project search, a one-click bulk-assignment wizard for existing projects, and a stored Customer field on Manufacturing Orders that is automatically derived from the linked project. The customer field stays optional, so internal and speculative projects are never forced to carry one.

One-Click Bulk Assignment
Select any number of projects and assign a customer to all of them at once from the Actions menu — apply only to projects without a customer, or overwrite every selected project.
Manufacturing Order Traceability
A stored, read-only Customer field on Manufacturing Orders is derived automatically from the linked project, so production staff can always trace a run back to the client it is for.
Customer Column on MO List
See the customer for every Manufacturing Order right in the list view, without opening each order to check its linked project.
