Duplicate dozens of records in one click, not one at a time
Select any number of Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices/Bills, or Repair Orders and duplicate them all at once — with a record-count confirmation, per-field control, guardrails against accidental duplicates, and a full audit trail.
The problem
Odoo only duplicates one record at a time. Teams that re-issue similar quotations, re-run standing purchase orders, or generate recurring invoices have to open every record individually and click Duplicate, one by one, with no bulk path, no preview of what will be created, and no report of what succeeded or failed.
The solution
Select records in a list, choose Mass Duplicate from the Actions menu, confirm the exact count, and decide field-by-field what to copy, reset, or leave empty. Watch a live progress bar, review a per-record success/failure report when it finishes, and find every run again later in a persistent audit log.
Everything a bulk duplicate needs

Four document types, one flow
Mass Duplicate appears in the Actions menu of Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices/Bills, and Repair Orders — the same wizard and flow across all four, no separate app to buy per document type.
Record-count confirmation
Before anything is created, the wizard shows exactly how many records are selected, so a mis-click on a large selection never silently duplicates dozens of documents.
Per-field copy, reset, or skip
A field-handling grid lets you choose, for every eligible field, whether the copy keeps the source value, resets to the default, or is left empty — so references, dates, and statuses never carry over by accident.
Multiple copies per record
Set how many copies to make of each selected record in a single run, up to a configurable cap, instead of repeating the whole selection process to get more than one copy.
Configurable uniqueness guardrail
Choose no check, a warning, or a hard block against creating a duplicate that matches an existing record's reference — protecting production data without slowing down routine runs.
Live progress bar
The wizard tracks and displays progress while the bulk run is in flight, so you always know the operation is working instead of wondering if the click registered.
Per-record success/failure report
When the run finishes, a results panel lists every source record with its outcome and, for any failure, the specific reason — so nothing is left to guesswork.
Persistent audit log
Every bulk run is written to a Duplication Logs list with the user, date, document type, and counts, plus a detail form with a colour-coded line per record — full traceability for operations and accounting teams.
Admin-configurable settings
A dedicated Settings page sets the maximum records per run, whether the audit log is recorded, and the default uniqueness mode — configured once for the whole company.
How it works
Select records
Check the records to duplicate in any Sales, Purchase, Invoice/Bill, or Repair list view.
Launch Mass Duplicate
Open the Actions menu and click Mass Duplicate to see the record count and set copies, field handling, and the uniqueness mode.
Confirm and run
Confirm the operation and watch the progress bar as each record is duplicated in turn.
Review the results
Check the success/failure summary, then find the same run again anytime in the Duplication Logs.
