The problem
Changing the same field across many records still means exporting to CSV, editing in a spreadsheet, and re-importing — or opening each record one by one. Odoo's built-in mass edit offers no preview, no undo, and no record of what changed, so a wrong selection can silently corrupt hundreds of records with no way back.
The solution
Cerevantix Mass Editing adds a configurable Mass Edit action to any model's list view. Select records, choose set / add / remove / clear operations per field, preview exactly what will change, then apply. Every operation is logged with before and after values and can be undone within a configurable window.

Any Model, Any Field
Configure a Mass Edit action for any Odoo model — contacts, leads, orders, or a custom model — and whitelist exactly which fields and roles each configuration exposes.
In-Context List Action
The Mass Edit entry appears directly in the list view's Action menu wherever it is configured, so users find it where they already select records — not buried in Settings.
Set, Add, Remove, or Clear
Apply set/replace, add, remove, or clear operations per field in one pass — covering text, numeric, date, boolean, many2one, and many2many fields.
Filtered Bulk Edits
Restrict a bulk change to only the records within your selection that match an optional domain filter, instead of forcing an all-or-nothing edit.

How it works
Select Records
Pick records in any configured list view and open Mass Edit from the Action menu.
Choose Operations
Add field operations — set, add, remove, or clear — and optionally narrow the selection with a filter.
Preview & Confirm
Review the affected count and a before-and-after preview; large or above-threshold edits require a second confirmation.
Apply & Track
The edit runs in safe batches, lands in the audit log, and can be undone within the recovery window if needed.
