The problem
Odoo Discuss has no built-in way to relay an existing message into another conversation. Teams copy-paste text that loses formatting and sender attribution, re-upload attachments by hand, or fall back to email forwarding that leaves the thread outside Odoo entirely. Finding an older message to forward means scrolling a busy channel, and once a message is sent there is no record of where it went, to whom, or when.

Search Discuss messages by sender and date, select one or several, and forward them in a single action to any mix of channels, direct-message recipients and record chatters. Attachments, the original author and the timestamp travel with the message, a saved comment template adds context in seconds, and every forward is written to a permanent audit log.
