Dimension capture on the sale order
Mark any order line as cut-to-size and enter piece length, width and quantity directly on the quote, pre-filled from per-product defaults.
1D bar, tube and profile nesting
First-Fit-Decreasing packing minimizes offcut waste when nesting pieces onto stock lengths, with saw-kerf loss accounted for on every cut.
2D sheet optimization
Shelf-guillotine nesting places rectangular pieces onto wood, glass, acrylic and metal panels, rotating pieces 90° when it improves the fit, with configurable edge trim.
Cross-job remnant reuse
Usable offcuts are tracked as remnant inventory and offered to the optimizer before fresh stock, compounding waste savings across jobs instead of resetting on every run.
Live waste and cost benchmark
Every plan shows waste percent, the naive-cut baseline, the saving percent versus that baseline, and the total material cost — a defensible number the estimator can show the customer.

Set up stock formats
Define the bars, tubes and sheets you buy, with kerf, edge trim and cost, and mark products as cut-to-size with default dimensions.
Quote the pieces
Enable cutting on the order lines the customer needs, enter or accept the piece dimensions, and click Cutting Optimizer.
Review the plan
Check the SVG layout, waste and saving percentages, remnants used, and the total material cost before committing.
Confirm and cut
Confirming the order generates the Manufacturing Orders and lets the floor print or scan the QR-coded cutting sheets.
