The problem
Odoo never pushes server-side changes to an open list, kanban or form view, so what a dispatcher, warehouse lead or support agent sees on screen silently goes stale. Manual refreshing wastes time, duplicates work, and lets decisions get made on outdated numbers — especially on wall-mounted or long-open monitoring screens.
The solution
A toolbar sits next to the pager on every list, kanban and form view with a toggle, interval control, manual refresh button and a “last refreshed at” indicator. Turn on change detection and the view only reloads when the underlying data actually changed — precise, non-disruptive, and configurable by any admin from Settings.
