User Wise Report Printing Options lets every user pick what happens after clicking Print: open in the viewer, download the file, or send straight to a printer. Admins set role-level defaults and printer routing, browsers that block auto-print fall back gracefully, and every print is logged for a complete audit trail.

Per-User Print Action
Each user chooses open, download, or direct print as their personal default — set once from their Preferences and applied to every report they print afterward.
Always Print Automation
Skip the preview entirely for high-volume workflows: enable Always Print so reports fire straight to the configured printer without an extra click.
Role-Based Print Rules
Define a default print action and printer for an entire user role. New users inherit the right behavior automatically until they set their own preference.
Named Printer Routing
Register printers by name and location, mark one as the company default, and route a role's or a user's reports to the printer that matches their workspace.
Browser-Aware Fallback
When a browser blocks automatic printing, the app falls back to a message, a download, or an emailed copy of the report — so the workflow never dead-ends.
Compatibility Indicator
A systray widget shows, at a glance, whether the current browser fully supports the user's chosen print behavior — no post-purchase surprises.
Self-Service Preferences

Set a preference
A user picks their print action, fallback, and printer from My Preferences — or an admin sets a role-level default that applies automatically.
Click Print as usual

The report opens, downloads, or prints directly based on the resolved setting, with an automatic fallback if the browser blocks direct printing.
