An inline count badge on every row tells you which records have files — click it to open Odoo's native full-screen viewer without ever leaving the list.
The problem
Attachments live behind the individual record form or buried in the chatter, so a list view gives no signal of which rows even have files. Reviewing 200 vendor bills or a stack of CVs means opening each record, checking, and clicking back — one at a time, every time.
The solution
A paperclip-and-count badge appears right in the list. Click it and Odoo's native File Viewer opens full-screen, pre-loaded with every attachment on that row — navigation arrows, zoom, rotate, print, and a one-click download fallback for anything it can't render.

A paperclip icon with a live count appears as its own column in the list, so you see which rows have files before you click any of them.
One-Click Full-Screen Preview

Multi-File Navigation
When a record has several attachments, navigation arrows let you step through every one without closing and reopening the viewer.

Works On Contacts Out Of The Box
Ships wired onto the Contacts list view, and the underlying mixin is reusable so a developer can add it to any other list-view model.
On By Default For Every User
Enablement is group-based and on by default for internal users, so there is no profile setting to hunt for and nothing to configure after install.
Per-User Column Toggle
Anyone who prefers a leaner list can hide the column from the standard optional-columns dropdown — no admin needed to change it back.
