Sale/Purchase Done Status adds an automatic, always-accurate Completion badge to sales and purchase orders — done only when delivery/receipt is complete and the invoice is fully paid — plus a bulk Mark Done wizard that locks eligible orders in one click.
The problem
Odoo's native sale and purchase states never tell you whether an order is actually finished. A confirmed sales order can sit unchanged for weeks after it ships and gets paid, and there is no single glance that answers "is this one done?" — staff open the delivery smart button, then the invoicing tab, then the payment status, for every order, every week, and native Odoo only lets you lock orders one at a time.
The solution
A live Completion badge (Open / Done) on both sale and purchase orders, computed automatically from delivery/receipt status and invoice payment state — visible in list, form, and search everywhere orders live. When you are ready to close the books, select any orders and run the Mark Done wizard: it checks each one against the same criteria and locks only the orders that qualify, skipping the rest with a clear reason.

Combined sale & purchase completion
A single Open/Done completion concept applied to both sales orders and purchase orders, so sales and procurement teams share one source of truth.
Automatic Done detection
The Completion field recomputes itself as deliveries, receipts, and payments happen — no manual status updates, and it reverts automatically if a picking is undone or a payment reversed.
Payment progress at a glance
Amount paid and paid percentage are shown directly on the order, on both the sales (AR) and purchase (AP) sides — no need to open the invoicing tab.
Delivery & receipt status
A clear delivery-complete indicator on sales orders and a receipt-complete indicator on purchase orders show logistics completion without opening the stock smart button.
Refund & credit note visibility
A dedicated smart button surfaces refunds and credit notes tied to the order, and an outstanding refund keeps the order out of Done until it is settled.
Bulk Mark Done wizard
Select any number of orders from the list view and run Mark Done to lock every eligible order in a single action — month-end close in one click instead of a per-order sweep.
Blocking pre-lock checklist
The wizard lists every selected order with a pass/fail reason for delivery and payment, and never locks an order that does not meet every criterion.
Filter & group by completion
Built-in Done/Open filters and a Completion group-by let managers isolate fully-settled orders from outstanding ones directly in the standard views.
Configurable Done rule
A Settings toggle decides whether Done requires full payment as well as full delivery, or delivery/receipt alone — letting each company match its own close-out policy.
How it works
Enable the toggle
Install the app and choose, in Sales or Purchase settings, whether Done requires full payment or delivery/receipt alone.
Work orders as usual
Confirm sales and purchase orders, validate deliveries and receipts, and invoice/bill exactly as you already do in Odoo.
Watch the badge update
The Completion badge and payment/delivery indicators refresh automatically on the order form and in every list view.
Lock with Mark Done
Select any orders and run the Mark Done wizard to lock every eligible one, skipping the rest with a clear reason.

By default, an order is Done when it is confirmed, fully delivered or received, and fully paid or billed. A Settings toggle lets you make full delivery/receipt alone sufficient, without requiring payment, if that better fits your close-out policy.
