Purchase Order To Task adds a one-click, stage-independent Create Task action with a preview step, bulk per-line generation, configurable auto-assignment, and live task counts on the order itself — plus a reverse Create RFQ flow so project tasks can trigger procurement too.

A Create Task button lives on the Purchase Order form from RFQ through fully confirmed and done — no stage restriction like many competing apps.
Preview before you commit
The Create Task wizard shows the order's vendor, lines and amounts before anything is created, replacing the blind popups competing modules fire instantly.
Bulk, per-line task creation
Switch to per-line mode to generate one task per order line in a single pass, with an editable grid for adjusting each task's title.
Configurable auto-assignment
Assign generated tasks to the buyer, leave them unassigned, or pick a specific user — chosen per conversion or defaulted from Purchase Settings.
Live task status on the order
The Purchase Order shows a running count of open and completed linked tasks, the one visibility gap every competitor analyzed left unsolved.
Bidirectional traceability
Smart buttons keep the Purchase Order and every generated task linked both ways, so you can jump between procurement and project work at any time.
Task-to-PO reverse workflow
Tasks not yet linked to an order show a Create RFQ button, letting project users kick off procurement directly from the task that needs it.

Confirm the order
Work your Purchase Order as usual, at any stage from RFQ to fully confirmed — task creation is never gated by order status.
Preview and create
Open the Create Task wizard to review the vendor, lines and amounts, choose a project and assignment strategy, then create one task or one per line.
Work from either side
Smart buttons keep the Purchase Order and its tasks linked in both directions, so anyone can jump between procurement and project work instantly.
Track status live
Open and completed task counts stay visible on the Purchase Order, and the PO Tasks workspace groups every task by its source order.
