In native Odoo Project, anyone with project access can be assigned a task, and there is no first-class team concept tied to a project. Tasks land on people outside the delivery team, work leaks across clients, and project managers end up policing assignments by hand and tracking rosters in spreadsheets.

Create teams with a lead, account manager, and tech lead, then add members with a role (lead, member, reviewer, viewer) and a task capacity. Chatter tracks every roster change.
Team List & Kanban
Browse teams in a color-coded kanban with lead avatar and member/project counts, or switch to a list view with search and group-by on lead or company.
One-Click Team Assignment
Select a team on any project and the account manager, tech lead, and project manager fields fill automatically — but only when they are still blank, so a manual override is never silently overwritten.
Project Kanban & Form Integration
The project form carries the assigned team, account manager, and tech lead alongside two restriction toggles; the kanban card shows the account manager avatar and team name at a glance.
Missing-Assignment Filters
Filter and group projects by Missing Team, Missing Account Manager, or Missing Tech Lead, plus group-by team/account manager/tech lead, so unstaffed projects surface immediately.
Restricted Task Assignment
Turn on Restrict Tasks to Team and the assignee dropdown narrows to team members only. Assigning or creating a task for an outsider raises a clear message naming who to contact to add them to the team.
Team-Scoped Task Visibility
Turn on Restrict Task Visibility to Team and a record rule hides that project's tasks from anyone who is not on the assigned team, closing cross-project and cross-client leakage.
Workload & Capacity Badges
Every team member shows an active-task count against their capacity as a progress bar and an Available, Busy, or Overloaded badge, so managers spot overload before they assign more work.
Bulk Team Assignment Wizard
Assign one team to many projects at once, optionally setting the account manager and tech lead and overwriting existing values — turning project-by-project staffing into a single action.
