Drag-and-drop timeline
A built-in OWL timeline lets you create, move, and resize allocation slots directly on a horizontal grid, switching between Day, Week, and Month scales without leaving the screen.
Live overload detection
Each resource's capacity bar recolors green, amber, or red as you drag a slot, so overbooking is visible before you release the mouse, not after.
Cross-project utilization
Utilization is computed across every project a person is staffed on, so allocations hidden across separate project boards roll up into one honest capacity figure.
Conflict detection
Overlapping confirmed allocations for the same person are flagged automatically, with each conflicting allocation named directly on the record.
Real working calendars & leave
Capacity is computed from each employee's actual resource calendar and validated approved leave, so a green allocation reflects real availability, not a flat assumption.
Percentage or hours mode
Allocate effort as a percentage of daily capacity or as a fixed number of hours, with the two automatically kept in sync on every allocation.
Bulk operations
Select multiple allocations in the list view to confirm, cancel, or shift them in bulk, including a dedicated wizard for moving a whole batch of slots by a number of days.
Reusable staffing templates
Save common allocation patterns as templates and apply them with one click to prefill mode, percentage, role, and duration on a new allocation.
Roles, skills & reporting
Tag employees with roles and skills for filtering, and track utilization over time with dedicated pivot and graph reporting views.
