The problem
Point of Sale is built for in-store checkout, not for the address, driver, and status tracking that home delivery needs. Cashiers end up scribbling addresses on paper, phoning drivers, and chasing cash collected on delivery in a spreadsheet.

This module adds a full delivery workflow directly onto the POS order: address capture, zone matching, driver dispatch, commission, cash-on-delivery reconciliation, a public tracking link, and a dedicated reporting view — all in the apps you already use.

Delivery Details on the Order
Flag any POS order as a home delivery and capture recipient name, phone, address, delivery window, priority, and fee. Fields auto-fill from the customer's profile.
Full Delivery Lifecycle
Orders move through Pending, Confirmed, Assigned, En Route, Delivered, Failed, or Cancelled, with every change logged on the order's chatter.
Driver Fleet Management
Track drivers by vehicle type, online/available/busy status, assigned zones, and live delivery stats such as completion rate and average delivery time.
Delivery Zones with Auto-Matching
Define zones by postal-code prefix, each with its own fee, estimated delivery time, and preferred drivers. Entering a zip code auto-fills zone, city, and fee.
Bulk Dispatch Wizard
Select multiple confirmed orders and assign them all to one available driver in a single step, with an automatic route sequence for the run.
Automatic Driver Commissions
Set a fixed amount or a percentage of the order total per driver; the commission is computed automatically and voided on cancelled or failed deliveries.
Cash-on-Delivery Reconciliation
Mark an order as cash-on-delivery, record the amount actually collected by the driver, and see the expected amount, the difference, and a reconciled flag automatically.
Public Delivery Tracking Page
Every delivery order gets a unique, token-secured tracking link the customer can open in any browser, with no account or login required.
Delivery Analysis & Printable Slip
A pivot and graph reporting view breaks down orders, delivery time, fees, commission, and cash collected, alongside a printable delivery slip for the driver.
How it works
Mark the Order for Delivery
The cashier flags the POS order as home delivery; recipient and address fields auto-fill from the customer profile.
Confirm & Match a Zone
The zip code matches a delivery zone for fee and city, the order is confirmed, and a confirmation email goes out.
Dispatch to a Driver
Use the dispatch wizard to bulk-assign orders to an available driver; a dispatch email with the tracking link is sent out.
Deliver & Reconcile
The driver marks the order delivered, cash collected is recorded, commission is computed, and the order feeds the analysis report.
