The problem
Standard Odoo POS treats every product as a rigid, individually-scanned line item. Cashiers cannot ring up a “Large Pizza + side + drink” deal as one guided flow, and they cannot add the same topping twice for double cheese or extra pepperoni — slowing the line and forcing manual price overrides.
The solution
This module adds a thin, purpose-built layer on Odoo's native POS combo system: Fixed items that auto-include and lock, topping groups with repeatable quantity selections and per-item caps, and a live modifier summary on the cart and in order history — so every build-your-own order rings up fast and accurate.

Fixed & Optional Items at a Glance
Combo items marked Fixed auto-include and show a lock badge, so cashiers instantly see what's included versus what the customer still has to choose.
Repeatable Toppings with Live Counts
Customers can order double cheese, extra pepperoni, or any topping more than once, with a live quantity counter right in the combo selection popup.
Operator-Configurable Per-Topping Caps
Set a maximum repeat count on any topping group so double or triple orders stay within the range you allow, with no manual cashier override needed.
Topping / Modifier Group Styling
Flag any combo choice as a topping group to give it distinct badge styling and always-visible quantity counters at the register.
Live Cart Modifier Preview
Every chosen modifier and its quantity appears right on the running cart line before checkout, so the full build is confirmed before payment.
Modifier Summary in Order History
Each order line stores a one-line modifier summary, such as “Pepperoni ×2, Mushrooms ×1”, ready for reporting and reconciliation.
One Setting to Toggle Modifier Badges
A single Point of Sale configuration switch turns cart modifier badges on or off per register, so every store can match its own counter style.
How it works
Set Up Combo Choices
Mark items as Fixed, flag topping groups, and set a per-item repeat cap on each combo choice from the standard product form.
Build the Combo Product
Attach the combo choices to a combo-type product, such as “Make My Own Pizza”, and make it available in the POS.
Guide the Cashier at the Register
The POS combo popup walks the cashier through every required choice, with fixed items pre-included and toppings selectable up to their cap.
Confirm the Build on the Receipt
The full list of modifiers, with quantities, shows on the cart and prints on the customer receipt and order history.
