The problem
In Odoo's standard Point of Sale, dependent add-ons such as extra toppings, sides, or drinks have to be rung up as separate, disconnected product lines. There is no way to link an add-on to its parent item, apply combined pricing automatically, or show the kitchen which extras belong to which dish — slowing order entry, causing mispriced orders, and confusing food preparation during a rush.
The solution
Pos Extra Sale lets you define extra products per main item with an auto-opening configurator, pre-selected defaults, and contextual bundled pricing. Each chosen extra becomes a real linked order line — indented under its parent on screen and on the receipt — so stock decrements correctly and every extra flows onto the delivery picking automatically.

Auto-Display Extras Popup
The moment a configured main product is added to an order, an extras popup opens automatically, showing every available add-on grouped by category so cashiers never have to search the product list.
Pre-Selected Defaults
Mark any extra as a default and it arrives pre-checked in the popup, cutting taps for your most common combinations while staying fully editable.
Multiple Extras Per Item
Select as many extras as a dish needs — toppings, sides, and drinks together — each becoming its own line linked to the parent product.
Contextual Bundled Pricing
Give any extra a different price when it is sold bundled with a main product versus sold on its own, so combo pricing is applied automatically at the point of sale.
Extra Groups for Organized Menus
Group related add-ons — Toppings, Drinks, Sides — into named Extra Groups that keep the configurator popup organized and easy to scan.
Order Line & Receipt Display
Selected extras appear indented beneath their parent product in the order pane and on the printed or emailed receipt, so staff and customers see exactly what was ordered.
Manual Extras Control Button
Add or edit extras after the fact from a dedicated control button on any order line, for when a customer changes their mind mid-order.
Automatic Stock Decrement
Because every extra is a real product line, storable extras decrement on-hand stock the same way the main product does — no manual inventory adjustment required.
Delivery & Picking Propagation
Extras carry through onto delivery orders and picking documents automatically, so fulfilment always matches exactly what was sold at the till.
How it works
Configure extra groups
Create Extra Groups such as Toppings or Drinks and add the extra products that belong to each, from Point of Sale > Extra Groups.
Attach extras to a product
On any product's Point of Sale tab, pick which extras apply, mark defaults, and set a contextual bundled price.
Sell with one tap
Add the main product in the POS session — the extras popup opens automatically with defaults pre-checked, ready to confirm or adjust.
Track and fulfil accurately
Extras appear on the order, the receipt, and any delivery picking, with stock decrementing automatically for storable items.
