Restrict each cashier to specific payment methods (e.g. card-only) and block disallowed methods live at the payment screen, with the attempt logged automatically.
Discount Restrictions
Set a maximum discount percentage per cashier, or disable discounting entirely, closing a fraud and margin-leakage gap that payment restrictions alone don't cover.
Post-Payment Order Lock
Paid orders display a clear locked badge and can't be edited or re-opened afterward. Any tampering attempt is captured in the audit log instead of silently blocked.
Cross-Cutting Audit Log
Every blocked payment, blocked discount, locked-order attempt, PIN reset, and checklist deviation lands in one searchable log with severity levels and cashier, session, and amount context.
Opening & Closing Checklists
Build reusable opening and closing task templates per store. Closing checklists can block session close until every mandatory task is completed, ending advisory-only procedures.
Self-Service PIN Reset
A cashier who forgets their PIN can request a one-time temporary PIN right from the POS login screen, so a forgotten password never stalls the lane.
Manager Force-Reset
Managers can force-reset any cashier's PIN from the employee form, instantly issuing a fresh temporary PIN and logging the action for accountability.
Fast Cashier Search & Role Badges
The cashier selection popup adds instant name search and a visible cashier / supervisor / manager role badge, so large staff rosters stay fast to navigate.
Per-Cashier Activity Report
A dedicated pivot-ready report and a Session Cashier Oversight panel give managers per-cashier transaction counts, audit history, and checklist status in one place.
