Keep the change due in full view, every time
Odoo POS shows the change due on the payment screen, then drops it the moment the order is validated. This module keeps a clear Change Due block on the confirmation screen and lets you customise the wording on screen and on the printed receipt.
The problem
Once a cashier validates a cash order, the change figure disappears from the confirmation screen. The cashier has to remember the number, the customer gets no on-screen confirmation of what they are owed, and busy counters end up with disputes over "you gave me the wrong change" that slow down the line and complicate the end-of-shift till count.
The solution
A prominent Change Due block stays on the confirmation screen after every cash order, using the same rounding-accurate figure Odoo already calculates. The wording is fully configurable, applies to both the screen and the printed receipt, and the whole feature is controlled by a single on/off switch in POS Settings.

Change Due on the confirmation screen
A clear, prominent Change Due block appears on the "Payment Successful" screen right after validation, so the cashier and customer both see the exact amount owed back.
Configurable change label
Set the wording used next to the change amount, on screen and on the printed receipt, from a single field in POS Settings (default "Change Due").
One-toggle enable / disable
A single switch in POS Settings turns the whole feature on or off per Point of Sale — no uninstall needed, and obvious to a non-technical shop owner.
Rounding-accurate figures
Reuses Odoo's own change calculation, including cash rounding, so the amount shown always matches what the till actually hands back.
Works with every payment method
Displays correctly regardless of how the order was tendered, so mixed cash and card payments are covered without extra setup.
Community and Enterprise
Installs cleanly on both the Community and Enterprise Point of Sale, with no core files modified — a pure extension approach.
How it works
Turn it on
Enable "Change on Receipt Screen" in POS Settings and set your preferred change label.
Take the payment
The cashier processes the order as usual and the customer tenders cash over the total.
See the change due
The confirmation screen shows a clear Change Due block with your custom label.
Hand over the receipt
The printed receipt shows the same custom label next to the change, closing the transaction with no ambiguity.
