Right-click any record in list or kanban to open it in a new tab, copy its link, or batch-open your whole selection — on top of Odoo's native Ctrl/Cmd-click support, with zero setup required.
The problem
Triaging a list of sales orders, invoices, or contacts means opening a record, reading it, clicking back, and losing your scroll position and filters — then repeating for the next one. Odoo has no reliable right-click, copy-link, or batch way to open several records in parallel, so side-by-side comparison becomes constant back-and-forth navigation.
The solution
A right-click context menu on every list and kanban record adds "Open in new tab", "Copy link", and "Open N records in new tabs" for your current selection. A visible kanban icon and a one-time onboarding hint make the feature discoverable, and admins can toggle each piece independently from Settings — all active the moment the app is installed.

Right-click context menu
Right-click any record in a list or kanban view to open a menu with "Open in new tab" — no button or keyboard gesture to remember.
Copy record link
Copy a record's deep-link to the clipboard in one click from the same menu, so you can share it with a colleague instantly.
Batch open in new tabs
Select two or more records and the menu offers "Open N records in new tabs" — review a whole batch in one gesture instead of one at a time.
Visible kanban icon
An unobtrusive "open in new tab" icon fades in on kanban card hover, giving casual users a visible option alongside the right-click menu.
First-use discoverability hint
A one-time toast on a user's first list view tells them right-click and Ctrl/Cmd-click both work, then never appears again.
Per-feature admin toggles
A dedicated Settings page lets admins turn the context menu, copy link, batch open, kanban icon, and onboarding hint on or off independently.
Works with native gestures
Complements Odoo's built-in Ctrl/Cmd-click and middle-click new-tab support instead of replacing it, so nothing collides with the standard client.
