The problem
Standard Odoo sales orders allow exactly one delivery address for the whole cart, silently defaulting to the first address on file. Distributors supplying several branches, wholesalers fulfilling franchise networks and procurement teams shipping to multiple sites are forced to split one purchase into several orders or ship everything to the wrong place and re-route it by hand afterward.
The solution
Assign a delivery address per order line or to the whole order, with a required review step before confirmation and an automatic picking split by destination that you preview first. Batch assignment, reusable address templates and a full audit trail make setting up dozens of destinations a few clicks instead of dozens of manual edits.

Order-level and line-level addressing
Set one delivery address for the whole order, or toggle into per-line mode and pick a different destination for every product — both in the same order.
Required address confirmation
Orders cannot be confirmed with an unreviewed address. A dedicated confirmation step replaces Odoo's silent auto-first pick with an explicit, deliberate choice.
Automatic delivery split
One picking is generated per destination address automatically, so the warehouse always ships the right items to the right place without manual re-routing.
Split preview before it happens
Review exactly which lines will ship together and where before confirming, closing the "surprise split" gap that competing modules leave open.
Batch assignment and templates
Assign many lines to many destinations at once with a batch wizard, or apply a saved delivery-address template (e.g. "All Regional Stores") with round-robin distribution across lines.
Per-line delivery instructions
Add a short delivery note to any line for destination-specific handling instructions, kept separate from general product notes.
Delivery vs. invoice conflict warning
A non-blocking banner flags likely mistakes, such as a delivery address that matches the invoice address, before the order is confirmed.
Immutable assignment audit trail
Every address assignment is logged with who assigned it and when, giving high-value multi-location orders a full accountability record.
Visible on reports and the portal
Assigned delivery addresses print on the sales order PDF and appear in the customer portal, so both your team and your customer see the destination.
