Group counts by warehouse and location into a session with a clear state machine — Draft, Counting, To Approve, Approved, Posted — so multi-location counts stay coherent instead of one flat list.
Multi-User Concurrent Counting
Assign multiple counters to a session; each works their own scope at the same time with no record locking, entering results in real time from the My Counts screen.
Blind Dual-Count Verification
Two counters enter independent counts; the system automatically flags a conflict when they disagree beyond tolerance, keeping bias and single-person error out of the numbers.
Tie-Break Recount and Adjudication
A conflicting line queues for a third recount or a supervisor's Adjudication screen — an exceptions-only view that surfaces only the lines needing a decision.
Configurable Tolerance Thresholds
Set an acceptable variance percentage and an absolute quantity floor per session, so small rounding differences are never treated like real discrepancies.
ABC Classification and Cycle Counting
Auto-classify products into A/B/C value tiers with one click, then run cycle sessions filtered to a single class instead of a disruptive wall-to-wall count.
Variance Approval Before Posting
Counted lines move through a manager approval step with reason tagging — miscount, damage or scrap, theft, receiving error, other — so nothing reaches the accounting journal without sign-off.

How it works
Plan the Session
Create a count session, pick the warehouse and location, choose Standard, Blind Dual-Count or ABC Cycle, and assign counters.
Count
Counters enter quantities from their My Counts screen; blind sessions collect two independent counts per line.
Review and Approve
Conflicts route to Adjudication, variances are checked against tolerance, and a Count Manager approves the session.
Reconcile
One click posts the approved variances as a stock adjustment, closing the loop from count to system update.
