Multi Product Scrap Order replaces Odoo's one-product-at-a-time scrap form with a single batch order: many lines, mandatory lot/serial tracking, live cost totals, and one-click validation for the whole batch.
The problem
Writing off damaged, expired, or obsolete stock in native Odoo means opening a brand new scrap order for every single product. A 40-SKU write-off after a flooded storage bay becomes 40 separate forms, each re-entering the same source location, scrap location, and reason by hand — with no way to confirm them together and no visibility into the value being destroyed.
The solution
Multi Product Scrap Order lets an operator add every product for a scrap event as a line on one order, with per-line reason, location, lot/serial, and live cost. Availability is checked before commit, short stock prompts a deliberate override, and a single action validates one order or a whole batch at once — generating native stock moves and scraps automatically.
