The problem
Confirming a manufacturing order means re-typing quantities the system already knows: the planned output, and the components a recipe requires. On high-volume make-to-stock runs this repetitive entry slows down every order, and a single mis-keyed quantity throws off inventory valuation, stock availability, and component consumption — forcing corrective adjustments downstream.
The solution
Manufacturing Product Auto Done Quantity fills in the produced quantity and the consumed component quantities for you, triggered exactly when you choose — on confirmation, on a manual button, or when the last work order finishes — and shows the calculation basis and any over- or under-production warning before you commit.

See the quantity that will be filled and its basis before you confirm, with a plain-language warning whenever the result differs from the plan.

When components are tracked by lot or serial, the order shows exactly how the reserved quantity was split across them.

Decide whether an under-production result should warn, block confirmation, or adjust the quantity silently.

Optionally reserve components before recording production, so the fill reflects real, available stock.

Auto Produce All fills quantities, completes open work orders, and marks the order done in a single action.
How it works
Configure the automation
Set the trigger, calculation basis, and production policy once, from the Manufacturing settings panel.
Confirm the order
Confirm the manufacturing order as usual, or wait for the trigger you configured.
Review the preview
Check the auto-filled quantity, its basis, and any warning directly on the order form.
Produce with one click
Press Auto-Record Production or Auto Produce All to fill quantities and, if you choose, complete the order.
