The problem

List View Full Header Name auto-fits each header to its label, capped at a configurable max width, and falls back to a fast hover tooltip when a name genuinely cannot fit — so headers stay readable without pushing the table into unwanted horizontal scroll.

Each column header grows only as much as its label needs, so long names become readable without artificially widening every column in the table.
Configurable max width
Set a maximum header width in General Settings so even the longest labels cannot push a wide table into unnecessary horizontal scroll.
Full expand mode
Switch to Always Show Full Header Name to force every header open, matching the classic behaviour some teams prefer.
Tooltip only mode
Keep native header truncation untouched and rely purely on a faster hover tooltip when you do not want columns resized at all.
Fast hover tooltip fallback
Configure the tooltip reveal delay so a still-clipped header shows its complete name the moment a user hovers, in any mode.
